I design from start to finish for curvy women. My goal is to allow all women to feel bold, confident, and like showstoppers, no matter their size. All eyes are on them when they walk into the room.

I enjoy making sculptural one of a kind pieces for curvy women that are meant to show off their bodies in fun and unique ways. Since all women have different body parts they want covered, I like incorporating voluminous parts to go along with more fitted elements to show off the body while also covering it. My pieces draw attention to the person wearing it in a positive way.

As a Drexel STAR (Students Tackling Advanced Research) Scholar, my research project focused on plus size fashion design. I delved into the different body shapes and the best ways to flatter your body and give the look people want for the different shapes. I also surveyed plus size women to see what they are looking for in their clothing. After this, I compiled all the information and used it to create an outfit for my plus size model.

During my coop, I worked at Janell Wysock Textiles (a sustainable, zero waste studio) and learned how to knit full fashion pieces on a knitting machine. I also learned to weave fabrics, finish weavings, and turn them into pieces.

While studying abroad in Florence at Academia Italiana, I studied tailoring, explored fashion museums, and learned a lot about the history of fashion.

For five summers I taught students ages 4-16 how to create patterns, sew, and do fiber arts including needle felting, wet felting, weave, knit, and wonder-knit.
